And now for something a little different...
This is in the rotunda of the Administration Building on the campus of Texas A&M University.
I'm looking forward to doing some bridal portraits in this rotunda soon. The bride's mother worked in this building many years ago, and the bride, as a child, would play on this beautiful granite floor...
The columns on the front of the Administration Building have been used in many, many bridal portraits - including some I've done. So I look forward trying out the inside!
Whew! I'm way behind on posts here! Back in July my husband and I had an engagement shoot with Nycole and Brad. It took a little bit for everyone to loosen up - but it turned out to be a very nice shoot! We look forward to the bridals and wedding next year! There's more from this set in the portfolio on our website (see post below), but here's a couple of my favorites.
It's been a crazy, crazy time lately... new job, lots of freelance, and lots of photography post processing. I finally came to a small break in work and was able to update the portfolio section of the website. Take a look and tell me what you think!

I'm a little behind... so I'm trying to get caught up with a few posts today.
Last month I shot engagements for Jennifer and Brice. We had a good time but we had to beat the bluebonnets! They just don't last long enough in my opinion, but we all love them while they last :)
Last week, I finally had time to play a little with my new Fujifim S5 Pro
after the craziness of Christmas!
It just so happened that it was my birthday last Wednesday (we won't go into which one!) and my husband was nice enough to get me a dozen pink roses. He knew I'd enjoy getting them, but he also knew I'd enjoy playing with them!
Here's a couple of wedding ring shots & roses:
